ESG (Environmental, Socail and Governance) is a framework designed to be embedded into an organisation’s strategy that considers the needs and ways in which to generate value. In other words it is a strategy that is desinged to make things better in this World.
Environmental Responsibility
We know that there is a big push to remove the unnecessary from all business and to save energy wherever possible. So we have been working remotely and holding video conferencing to avoid excess travel and not using valuable resources, which is cutting down the amount of CO2 we produce.
We also recycle as much as is possible within the business.
Social Responsibility
We ensure our staff are looked after by ensuring their mental health and general well being is on an even keel. We strive to keep a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
We are affilitated to the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce which assists local businesses in many different ways including local action groups.
Our Director Jane has fundraised for many different charities throughout. These charities include:
Cancer Campaign in Suffolk, Clic Sargent, St. Elizabeth Hospice, Age UK, Myeloma UK, Home-Start in Suffolk, Papworth Trust to name a few.
Jane is also a fundraiser for Home-Start in Suffolk. This charity helps families in all situations and with the “Cost of living crisis” this charity is certainly is needed more than ever.
