The answer to this is simply: No. Our vehicles are extremely heavy as they are fitted with a crane that is suitable to carry and lift an empty shipping container. The 20ft containers are delivered on a vehicle known as an ‘8 Wheeler’ which weighs in the region of 24.25T (including the weight of an empty 20ft container) and 40ft containers are delivered on an ‘Artic vehicle’ which weighs in the region of 34T (including the weight of an empty 40ft container).
