Billie Box is sponsoring Felixstowe Ferry Sailing club’s (FFSC) Safety boat again this year.
Billie Box wants to make you aware of this great event FFSC are hosting on Bank holiday Monday, 26th August 2019 between 10am and 5pm, ‘Try Sailing’ Day, which is open to all.
The Royal Yacht Association (RYA) are actively promoting sailing with an initiative called ‘Push the Boat Out‘ which is held in many areas of the UK in May time. FFSC have already hosted 2 events in May 2019 and are wanting to extend this offer to the August 2019 bank holiday.
The sailing club Galley & Bar will be open from Noon till 3pm so please feel free to join us for lunch before, and drinks throughout the afternoon.
Powerboat rides
Start at 10am and finish at 1pm and are charged at £5 per head payable in cash. Buoyancy Aids are provided and must be worn.
Sailing Tasters
Sailing Tasters run from 2pm to 5pm, last 30 minutes and run every 30 minutes. The FFSC instructors will be out in Wayfarers which are boats suitable for up to 4 people and good for families. They will also have their performance catamarans out sailing for those who wish to go faster and don’t mind getting wet!
FFSC will be offering discounted sailing and powerboat courses only bookable on the day. Please talk to the registration team to book.

Booking is not essential but is possible by contacting sailing@ffsc.co.uk. Enrolment forms must be completed before taking part in any activity so please give yourself plenty of time to complete prior to going on the water! You can enrol here too.
